Background

Hi everyone, I am Julia, I am 29 and I live in the UK. Something about me I am a huge Vegas fan and I've gone every year for 5 years now! I love nostalgia, cinematic movies and indie music. I love cinematography and lighting gear! I love lamps :)

I spark and gaff, hire me!

I started gaffing in 2020 when I've done lighting design on some student productions and later sparked/gaffed some paid jobs with freelancers. I really love it and I am happy to say this is what I am pursing as a career at the moment, currently studying for an electrical diploma in addition to my masters degree in engineering :)

If you want to hire me, I am very detail oriented, I make sure the light is realistic and makes sense from shot to shot, communicating with the dp about anything that won't be fixable in post. I also make sure all my sparks (if I have sparks) are doing some useful work and things that they enjoy. :)
